The YOU WISH! Story

It all began with a typical family game night back in 2008. During a particularly memorable game of Go Fish, a playful response of “YOU WISH!” sparked what would become our family's new favorite game and later would grow to become our family business.

Ten years after that first “YOU WISH!,” father and illustrator Crow began the process of turning our homegrown and cherished family game into a beautiful and whimsical Magical Creature deck that could be shared with other families. Every card in our YOU WISH! Magical Creature deck started as a hand-drawn pencil drawing. With Crow's custom artwork and the game rules refined, the first 1,000 YOU WISH! decks were ordered.

In 2020, with the first YOU WISH! decks ready to share with the world, Crow and Tyler, the YOU WISH! Games father and son duo, began to work together to spread their family game.

The first players were family friends, but decks quickly spread to customers of local markets and retailers, eventually reaching families nationwide through stores across the United States and online marketplaces.

As of 2025, YOU WISH! Games have sold over 15,000 Magical Creatures decks and the rave reviews we have received from happy families and players have been incredibly rewarding. We genuinely love to hear that our special family game has become another family's favorite game!
